What a desert pickup and an unremarkable driver promise
The official synopsis is a single line: a gorgeous hitchhiker stranded on an empty desert road and a ride from the most average guy in the world. It is a familiar fantasy, the woman who seems out of reach and the plain man who happens to be in the right place at the right moment. Candy.ai does not say where the drive leads or who makes the first move, and we will not guess.
The synopsis names no partner waiting at home and no family line to cross, and the platform adds no content tag such as Taboo or Wife. That makes it one of the plainer premises in the catalog, a strangers-meet story with the isolation of the desert built in. Colette Ramsey leads it on the Candy characters tab; she and everyone she meets are AI-generated adults, and none of it was filmed.
How many tokens does the rest of the ride cost?
Episode 1 plays without any account, episode 2 is free once you open a free account (no card asked), and everything from episode 3 on is paid. For this road story that means two free installments and three paid ones, each at 12 tokens.
The paid stretch therefore totals 36 tokens. Premium’s 100 monthly tokens cover that comfortably, since this is the same bill as any standard five-episode title on the Candy characters tab and nowhere near the 90 tokens a Candy Creators series of the same length costs at the creator rate.
Every episode closes by opening a chat with Colette Ramsey on Candy.ai, so the conversation can keep going after the token spending stops. This series also lists all seven subtitle languages, Japanese included, which not every title on the platform does.
Road trips, rides home and Colette Ramsey’s other roles
Cars come up more than once in the catalog. I Couldn’t Say No to Our Babysitter also turns on a ride home, though there the driver is a married man and the passenger is the family babysitter, which earns it the Taboo tag. I Drove My Girlfriend’s Stepsister To College puts a boyfriend behind the wheel with his girlfriend’s stepsister, who has no interest in studying, and carries the Stepsister tag.
Colette Ramsey also leads Dad’s New Girlfriend, a Taboo story about a father’s much younger girlfriend that runs 6 episodes, so finishing it takes 48 tokens. To browse what else sits around this hitchhiker story, the full Candy Shorts series list is the best place to start.
