This policy covers candy-shorts.run, an independent guide to Candy Shorts. “We” means the operator of this site. The policy is short because the site collects very little, and everything it does collect is listed below.
We ask you for nothing
Every page can be read without an account. There is no reader login, no newsletter, no comment section and no form anywhere on the site, and we never ask for your name, your email address or a payment card. If you decide to email us, we receive what you send (your address and your message) and use it to answer you.
What your browser stores
The site sets no tracking cookies. Two small items can end up in your browser:
- Your answer to the 18+ notice. When you confirm you are an adult, the choice is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key
csv_age_ack, so the notice does not return on every page. It stays on your device and is not sent to us with your requests. Clearing this site’s data removes it, and the notice then shows again. - A preview cookie named
csv_preview. It is set only while the site is in its pre-launch preview, for reviewers who open a private preview link; it holds an access key, nothing about the person, and expires after a week. Ordinary visitors never receive it.
Server logs
Like most web servers, the one hosting this site writes standard access and error logs. An entry usually holds the IP address, the browser’s user agent, the address requested and the time. The host keeps these logs for security and debugging, for a limited period set by the hosting setup, and we do not use them to profile visitors.
Links to Candy.ai and other sites
Links from this site to Candy.ai are affiliate links, marked as sponsored. An affiliate link carries a code identifying this site, so it may let Candy.ai know that you arrived from here and credit a subscription to us. The links are set not to send your browser’s referrer, and we pass Candy.ai nothing else about you, since we hold nothing else.
Once you are on Candy.ai, its own privacy policy governs everything you do there, signing up and paying included. The same goes for any other site we link to, so read its policy before handing over personal details.
Analytics
No analytics tool is installed. The site also loads no third-party scripts: no advertising networks, no social media buttons, no embedded players. If that ever changes, we aim to update this policy at the same time, naming the tool and what it collects.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy law may let you ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. In practice, the only personal data tied to you here would be log entries kept by our host and any email you sent us.
To make a request, write to contact@candy-shorts.run and we aim to look into it and reply promptly. If you are unhappy with the answer, you may also be able to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
